Ebola crisis: Mali health workers test new vaccine
Health workers in Mali are receiving experimental doses of a new vaccine against Ebola.
The first volunteer, who was vaccinated on 8 October, says he is suffering no side effects. Ten more healthcare workers in the trial are due to receive more vaccines on Thursday.
The exercise is part of a bigger multi-country study involving the World Health Organization (WHO), the US National Institutes of Health and UK pharmaceutical firm GlaxoSmithKline.
